BYRON COOKE
Presenter, SCA's Hit Network (Australia)
Byron Cooke is a national radio host on Australia's Hit Network and a regular contributor on the internationally syndicated import music show "Passport Approved." In a career spanning almost 20 years, Byron has worked on-air at influential new music stations worldwide, including XFM London and Indie 103.1 Los Angeles. His work as host of Radar Radio on SCA's Triple M and Hit Networks earned him the "International Radio Personality of the Year" award at the Worldwide Radio Summit in 2012. Off the air, Byron's format development and music programming flair gave birth to the "Revolution" Active CHR radio format in Northern California. The format would hit No.1 in its target demographic.
Through his company Lock In Radio, Byron now owns and operates "Turf Club Radio," a 24/7 international horse racing talk station targeting a global niche audience via an app available worldwide. Currently the host of his own music segment "Beats By GameDay" on Australia's Seven Network, Byron has appeared on various other Australian television programs including "The Project" and "Radar New Music." He splits his time between Melbourne and Los Angeles.
