EVOL WALKS

EVOL WALKS

Origin: Australia, though they're now based in Los Angeles
Contact: Julanne Martin

Song: "Without Me"

They're loud. They're raw. They're memorable. Formed in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, fronted by redheaded powerhouse Leah Martin-Brown, Evol Walks are bringing rock back to its roots. Pairing impressive lyrics with powerful female vocals and catchy riffs, Evol Walks are set to create a buzz in the Aussie and American rock scenes. New single "Without Me" represents a departure from Evol Walks' previous releases, but is no less epic. An intensely raw and powerful ballad, the song plays on the emotions and features the famed talents of iconic drummer Kenny Aronoff (Paul McCartney, John Cougar Mellencamp).

Influenced by both the classic sounds of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Black Sabbath and also modern-day titans Joan Jett, Monster Magnet and Stone Sour, Evol Walks have toured relentlessly since debuting to an international audience at the Global Rock Summit in 2014. In the last year this impressive outfit has criss-crossed North America, Europe and Australia, performing countless gigs, highlighted by a mainstage slot at "Polish Woodstock," where they dazzled over a quarter-million people with an incendiary set. The critics have taken note: The Music Network proclaims, "It's Monster Magnet at their most accessible, it's Stone Sour before the first break-up-it's nuanced and decisive."
