Allison Hagendorf
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Allison Hagendorf is an accomplished music journalist and highly sought-after industry veteran and thought leader. She has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Variety, Fast Company, Rolling Stone, and Marie Claire.
Most recently, Allison served as the Head of Rock at Spotify, as well as the Host and Executive Producer of the Spotify Original Series, "Rock This with Allison Hagendorf," which celebrates all things rock & alternative — present, past, and future. The weekly show, which has been recognized for its overnight popularity by Billboard, NME, SPIN, The Fader, and Kerrang, features exclusive interviews with both legendary and emerging artists, including Queen, Foo Fighters, Joan Jett, Machine Gun Kelly, YUNGBLUD, Taylor Momsen, Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, blink-182's Travis Barker, Trippie Redd, and Miley Cyrus.
Allison started her career as an A&R executive at both Columbia and Epic Records, before transitioning to a TV Host and music journalist, interviewing artists and covering music news for Fuse Television Network. She has hosted The CW's music-competition show The Next, alongside celebrity judges Gloria Estefan, Joe Jonas, Nelly, and John Rich, as well as The X Games on ABC and ESPN, and recently hosted An Evening with Bon Jovi on AXS. She has also served as the live announcer for Global Citizen's VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World, and both the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Movie Awards.
