Jan Šorm is the Chairman of APRKA, Czech Republic, which is a position he was appointed to in 2021. APRKA is the Association for the Support of the Development of Cultural Activities, which transcends across rock music and other genres. Jan has over 10 years-experience working with the development of emerging artists for both local and international events. APRKA focuses on unsigned and emerging acts and supports their objectives internationally. APRKA also supports independent artists with tools and guidance to perform at various festivals worldwide. Furthermore, Jan is co-Founder of Czech ticketing/social app WENT that just launched recently. In addition, Jan is a music producer, songwriter, bass player and member of burgeoning local rock/edm band BLITZ UNION. Also, APRKA co-organizes the biggest Czech music competition of developing bands, The Absolute League (originally in Czech: "Skutečná Liga"), that has been running for almost 19 years. Over 3000 live shows were played during those years.
